Zink Biomed 10 contains the trace element zinc. Various symptoms can be observed with a zinc deficiency, such as scaly skin diseases, hair loss, delayed wound healing, impaired sense of taste or smell, hypofunction of the reproductive organs (testicles, ovaries). Zinc deficiency can occur due to an unbalanced or inadequate diet, due to an increased requirement such as after operations, injuries, pregnancy and breastfeeding. Increased zinc losses from the body caused by certain medications or insufficient zinc utilisation (e.g. intestinal diseases) can also lead to zinc deficiency.

Zinc Biomed 10 film-coated tablets are used to support the immune system or to cover an increased zinc requirement and in cases of high risk of deficiency.
