Description

Sterile, individually packaged tamponade strips with high absorbency made of soft calcium alginate fibres which, in exchange with the sodium salts of blood and secretions, transform into a hydrophilic, non-adhesive gel and fill the wound; this results in close wound contact and a microclimate that is favourable for healing. Germs are trapped in the gel structure during the transformation. Especially for deep wounds.
