Pruri-med is a mildly disinfecting skin wash emulsion specially formulated for itchy and dry skin.

The disodium undecylenamido MEA-sulfosuccinate contained in Pruri-med has a slightly growth-inhibiting effect against various bacteria and fungi and prevents skin infections. Lipid-replenishing substances protect the skin from excessive water loss and dehydration. Polidocanol 600 combats annoying itching.

Pruri-med stabilises the skin's protective acid mantle in the physiological pH range of 5.5.

Pruri-med is alkali-free and contains no colourants, perfumes or preservatives.

Pruri-med is used as a supportive treatment for skin conditions associated with inflammatory or itchy skin, such as

• atopic eczema (neurodermatitis) and other eczema;
• Age-related itching;
• Itchy skin without signs of illness;
• Fungal skin diseases;
• Occupational dermatoses;
• Itching of the anus etc.
