Product details

Perenterol is an antidiarrhoeal agent and contains a yeast fungus(Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745) as its active ingredient. It is used to treat diarrhoea, such as traveller's diarrhoea and, if prescribed by a doctor, to prevent and treat antibiotic-induced diarrhoea or diarrhoea caused by tube feeding; in combination with other measures, it helps to restore the intestinal flora and alleviate diarrhoea.

Perenterol regulates and normalises intestinal activity.

The yeast Saccharomyces boulardii is resistant to antibiotics and acts in a living form inside the intestine. It is not absorbed by the body.

Various studies have shown an inhibitory effect on the development of various harmful bacteria and Candida albicans.
