Oxyplastin promotes wound healing and protects the skin. Oxyplastin is an oily, homogeneous paste that is easy to apply to the skin. It has good adhesive properties that support the wound-healing and skin-protecting properties. Oxyplastin promotes tissue regeneration and accelerates scarring.
Oxyplastin is used to protect the skin against the wetness of nappies and to treat skin redness and soreness on the buttocks (nappy dermatitis). Oxyplastin is also used to treat minor injuries and skin damage.
If prescribed by a doctor, Oxyplastin can also be used to protect the skin in the case of an artificial anus praeter, artificial bladder fistula (cystostoma), artificial kidney fistula (nephrostoma) or after opening the anterior wall of the windpipe (tracheostoma) and under plaster casts.
