Nasivin pure is a cold remedy that combats the symptoms of the common cold. The active ingredient in Nasivin pure, oxymetazoline, has a vasoconstrictive effect. This causes the mucous membrane to swell and makes it easier to breathe in the event of a cold. The effect sets in within a minute and lasts for up to 12 hours.
On the recommendation of a doctor or pharmacist, Nasivin pure can be used as a mucosal decongestant for sinusitis and tubal catarrh.
Nasivin pure 0.01 % dosing dropper is used for infants and Nasivin pure 0.025 % dosing spray for small children from one year of age.
