Nailcure Sandoz 50 mg/ml active ingredient-containing nail polish is a medicinal product for the external treatment of fungal infections (mycoses) of the nails. Nailcure Sandoz 50 mg/ml active ingredient-containing nail polish is used without a doctor's prescription to treat nail mycoses on the front and side edges of the nail (as shown in Figure 1 below) if no more than two nails are infected. If the infection looks similar to Figures 2 or 3 (where more than just the front and side edges of the nail are affected), you should consult a doctor.

Nail mycosis is usually associated with a white, yellow or brown discolouration and thickening of the nail, although the appearance of the infection can vary greatly.

The active ingredient amorolfine contained in Nailcure Sandoz 50 mg/ml active ingredient-containing nail polish inhibits the growth of the fungi and kills them. Nailcure Sandoz 50 mg/ml active ingredient-containing nail polish is effective against various types of fungi, such as yeasts, the actual skin fungi (dermatophytes) and moulds. However, bacteria are not sensitive to Amorolfin.
