Loratadine Sandoz is a preparation for the treatment of allergic diseases. It has a long-lasting, blocking effect on histamine, which is released in the body during allergic reactions. The long duration of action means that it can be taken once a day. In the usual dosage, loratadine Sandoz does not generally impair the ability to perform or concentrate and does not usually cause drowsiness.

Loratadine Sandoz is used in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over for the preventive and symptomatic treatment of hay fever, chronic allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis and chronic hives (urticaria).
