Iberogast Classic is a herbal medicinal product that contains an alcoholic fresh plant extract of the bitter bow-grass(Iberis amara) and alcoholic extracts of 8 other medicinal plants. The plant extracts contained have an antispasmodic and soothing effect on the irritated gastrointestinal mucosa.

Iberogast Classic is used to treat irritable stomach and irritable bowel syndrome, i.e. functional gastrointestinal complaints characterised by acid regurgitation, heartburn, loss of appetite, flatulence and bloating, nausea or nausea.

If prescribed by a doctor, the preparation is also used for epigastric pain and abdominal cramps.
