Hirudoid Creme 3 mg/g Tb 100 g

Hirudoid cream contains the active ingredient heparinoid MPS (chondroitin polysulphate). MPS is the abbreviation for mucopolysaccharide polysulphate. This active ingredient prevents the formation of blood clots and promotes their regression. It also eliminates inflammatory processes and fluid accumulation in the tissue.

After using Hirudoid cream, tissue tension and the associated pain are reduced, swelling and haematoma are reduced and the heaviness in the legs is alleviated.

Hirudoid cream is used

• for complaints associated with varicose veins such as pain, heaviness, swollen legs (stasis oedema)
• to loosen hard scars, for scar care and cosmetic improvement of scars
• for blunt sports and accident injuries such as bruises, contusions, strains, bruising and swelling
• for pain in muscles and tendons

If prescribed by a doctor, Hirudoid cream can also be used

• for (superficial) phlebitis;
• for inflammation of varicose veins,
• for the follow-up treatment of sclerotherapy;
• for the supportive treatment of venous thrombosis

can be used.
