Duofer Fol 40 Filmtabletten

DuoFer Fol is an iron and folic acid supplement that is used to prevent and treat iron deficiency and anaemia with increased folic acid requirements during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Iron deficiency can result from increased demand (e.g. pregnancy, growth), increased loss (e.g. bleeding) or reduced intake (e.g. insufficient iron in the diet). In particular, anaemia can occur as a result of iron deficiency.

DuoFer Fol contains two iron salts with different dissolving properties, which ensures continuous release in the gastrointestinal tract. DuoFer Fol also contains vitamin C, which counteracts the oxidation of iron and favours the absorption of iron through the intestinal mucosa.
