The active ingredient in Burn-X, esomeprazole, belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors. It inhibits the enzyme responsible for the release of acid in the stomach (the proton pump).
Burn-X is used in adults for the short-term treatment of the symptoms of stomach burning and acid regurgitation caused by the backflow of stomach acid into the oesophagus.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 14 days, consult your doctor.
