Burgerstein EPA capsules 500 mg contain a concentrate of fish oils with various polyunsaturated, essential fatty acids (omega-3 fatty acids), which are largely lacking in our diet. The body needs these fatty acids to produce hormone-like substances (prostaglandins, thromboxanes, leukotrienes). A deficiency of omega-3 fatty acids can contribute to the development of certain lipometabolic disorders.
Burgerstein EPA Capsules 500 mg are used as a dietary supplement to the diet in the case of increased blood lipid levels and to ensure that the requirement for unsaturated fatty acids is met.
