Benadon 300 mg 100 Tabletten

Benadon is used to supplement an inadequate vitamin B6 _intake and to prevent and treat vitamin B6 _deficiency diseases, which can have the following causes:

-frequent vomiting;

-insufficient absorption in the intestine as a result of chronic diarrhoea or disturbances in the transfer of food components into the blood (absorption disorders);

-treatment with drugs that weaken the effect of vitamin _B6. These include certain antihypertensives, certain antibiotics including tuberculosis drugs, contraceptives ("pill") and penicillamine.

Benadon is also used as an adjuvant during radiotherapy treatment;

A vitamin _B6 deficiency can manifest itself as follows: Inflammation of the skin, accompanied by excessive sebum production and inflammation of the mucous membranes of the tongue and mouth. In severe cases, inflammation of the nerves, anaemia and brain cramps can also be observed.
