Balmed Hermal Plus is a medicated oil bath. It was developed for the treatment of dry, sensitive and itchy skin. The soya oil contained in Balmed Hermal Plus is distributed in the bath water and forms a thin film on the skin during the bath. Water evaporation from the skin is reduced, which has a favourable effect on the elasticity of the horny layer and relieves itching. An antipruritic effect is achieved by the addition of polidocanol.

Balmed Hermal Plus is therefore used for low-fat, dry and itchy skin.

After consultation with your doctor or pharmacist, Balmed Hermal Plus can also be used for the supportive treatment of skin diseases associated with dehydration, especially if these are accompanied by itching, such as atopic eczema (neurodermatitis), chronic eczema, age-related itching and for the supportive treatment of psoriasis.
