Balmed Hermal F is a medicinal oil bath. It was developed for the treatment and prevention of particularly dry and flaky skin.
The low-viscosity paraffin and peanut oil contained in Balmed Hermal F is distributed in the bath water and forms a thin film on the skin during the bath. This serves as a temporary protective layer until the skin's lipid mantle is restored. Water evaporation from the skin is reduced, which has a favourable effect on the elasticity of the horny layer and relieves itching.
Balmed Hermal F is therefore used for dry, sensitive skin.
After consultation with your doctor or pharmacist, Balmed Hermal F can also be used for the supportive treatment of cradle cap, nappy eczema, allergic and non-allergic eczema, eczema of the lower leg, neurodermatitis, psoriasis and ichthyosis (fish scale disease).
