Agiolax mite is a herbal swelling and lubricating agent made from psyllium seeds and psyllium husks(Plantago ovata seeds and seed husks).
Agiolax mite is used to gently stimulate bowel activity in cases of irritable bowel syndrome, diverticulosis; constipation during pregnancy and puerperium; diet, fasting cures, bedriddenness and convalescence; for gentle bowel evacuation in cases of haemorrhoids, anal fissures; chronic constipation. Agiolax mite increases the volume of faeces in the bowel. The ingredients of the granules swell many times their volume when water is absorbed. This stimulates bowel activity and produces smooth, soft bowel contents.
