Product details
The active ingredient in Acido-X, pantoprazole, belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors. It inhibits the enzyme responsible for the release of acid in the stomach (the proton pump).
Acido-X is used in adults for the short-term treatment of the symptoms of stomach burning and acid regurgitation caused by the backflow of stomach acid into the oesophagus.
