DIBASE 25'000 oral solution contains cholecalciferol (vitamin D3). Vitamin D3 is found in some foods and is also produced by the body when the skin is exposed to sunlight. Vitamin D3 helps the kidneys and intestines to absorb calcium and is needed for bone formation.
DIBASE 25'000 oral solution is used
- for the prevention of recognisable risk of vitamin D deficiency symptoms in people over 70 years of age.
- For the treatment of proven severe vitamin D deficiency in people over 70 years of age. It should only be used under medical supervision.
